Last Light

Location Skarvassbu, Norway

A permanent sort of ethereal twilight pervades during the last weeks before the Polar Night arrives. The sun only rises a couple of degrees above the true horizon, so is completely blocked by the mountains.

This view is looking down the valley of the Sørbotnelva, which flows towards the camera into the Ramfjord at Sørbotn, just hidden from sight.
